Rob Jackman

Since founding Jackman Wealth Management, LLC., during the fall of 2009, at the depths of the Great Recession, it has been Rob’s singular focus to take the complexity out of the financial planning and investment process for his clients. 

Utilizing a goals-based approach, Rob helps individuals to think about what is most important to them in their financial lives.  For over 30-years, Rob has helped those with questions such as these:

·         Can you handle my unique financial situation?

·         How can I create a monthly cash flow in retirement?

·         How can you help me not run out of money? 

Financial planning and investment management does not have to be difficult.  In addition to having taught the MBA investment course at Willamette University and the upper-level investment course at Corban University, Rob has spoken to high school students, church classes, company employees and senior executives on topics ranging from budgeting, cash flow management, investment management and financial well-being, along with a host of other financial topics.  He is currently a member of the Vanguard Research Community, a community of financial advisors that Vanguard regularly asks about its products and services. Membership in this community does not imply any endorsement by Vanguard. In the end, his goal is to make the subject interesting and understandable.

Rob’s educational background includes a degree in Finance from the University of Oregon, an MBA in Finance from Arizona State University along with earning the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.  He has served in the community as a board member for the Elsinore Theater and the Marion/Polk County YMCA.  He is a speaker for the 501(c)3 non-profit Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA).  His experience includes working for the Charles Schwab Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and Well Fargo Advisors.  In addition, he is a regular commentator on topics involving the stock market for Salem radio station 1430am KYKN.

Karla Hunter has served in a variety of progressively responsible positions for the State of Oregon over the course of a 21+ year career. She has extensive experience with managing the office for CEO’s and directors of public agencies, along with a variety of positions in project management, coordinating workflow within numerous professional settings and as safety policy analyst. She brings these acquired skills and professional experience to her role as Operations Manager and Director of Client Relations at Jackman Wealth Management where she is responsible for daily operations and client servicing needs.
